Material
Made with 100% Sheepskin: There's a reason why we use sheepskin so much. This incredible material balances form with function, offering a chic look with lightweight insulation in the winter and temperature regulation when the warmer months roll around.
For these reasons and many more, we guarantee you'll be turning to this stylish investment time after time!
Please be aware that as sheepskin is a natural product, variances within the colour and texture of these products is to be expected.
Size & Fit
When trying on your footwear for the first time, it may feel very tight across your toes and instep. This is nothing to worry about, as within an hour or so of wearing, the boots or slippers will loosen off as the wool starts to bed down and mould to your feet. So do not order a size bigger than you usually wear, otherwise they will end up too big for you. If you know you are a half size – then we recommend buying the size down unless you regularly buy up a half size
Care
Washing Instructions
30 Degree Gentle Machine Wash
Put the boots in a pillowcase to avoid drum marks from the washing machine. Machine wash on a 30 degree wool cycle with Celtic Wool Wash. This is the only wool wash that has been tried and tested over many years on our sheepskin footwear, so while others are available we can’t be sure that you will get the same results if you use them.
Ratings & reviews
Write a reviewHaving bought my daughter a pair of shortie boots last year, I had been lusting over these, and decided treat myself for my (big) birthday this year. I suffer with cold feet, and I'm in love with how warm and toasty they keep both my feet and legs, and also how they can be worn turned up or down. I've received lots of compliments when wearing them out, and have been loath to take them off when I get home! May have to invest in a pair of house boots now!!
Love them! 6 just right after an hour or two without socks - I sometimes wear a 5.5 so was worried they'd be too big, but no. Top button only just stays done up when I'm wearing them with skinny jeans, but I have curvy calves and expect as the sheepskin flattens that will ease a smidge. Cute rounded toe shape, sturdy sole, perfect for such chilly days.
My original popper boots lasted years, so comfy and snug and great to wear without socks... an absolute favourite. With heels well worn down, time to buy another pair but sadly a bit disappointed as they were a bit too wide and saggy just above the ankles and had to be returned. I may have just been unlucky and will try a different style.
A very happy wife with warm and comfy feet
Very happy with my popper boots. This is my second pair of these purchased from Celtic & co. They are so comfy & hug my feet keeping me warm especially on those cold days. Excellent quality as always.
I usually go for the original/classic style but when I needed a pair of more formal black boots I decided to go for the calf height Popper Boots and I am delighted. This must be my umpteenth pair of Celtic boots and you never fail to please ... now is it going to be the dark blue or aubergine next?
So pleased with my popper boots, have had them for 4 years plus now. I do look after them cleaning/ spraying and boot shapes, constantly get comments on my "New Boots" lol so send them your way as I can't recommend them enough and the repair service you offer is an added extra. However I've not had to use that sevice yet but Daughter in law has and shes over the moon with the finish, i have been looking at your Aviator Boots so I my well be down to see you soon, thank you Mrs Burke
Tried these on bare-footed. Now loathed to put socks on! So lovely to feel the sheepskin against my feet. Usually size 5.5, found size 5 to be just right.
My first Celtic boots I bought must be over 15 years ago and they are still going strong. I have the long black pull ons, brown long poppers, calf beige poppers, and have just added these black ones to my collection. I love them, it is like wearing radiators on your feet! Warm feet warm body!
Fabulous boots. I'm now saving my pennies for the knee height ones in spice!!
