Brimming with homemade charm, our new babushka slippers are made using the softest undyed felted wool from European sheep for a natural look.
Lined with a Celtic & Co. sheepskin insole (that you can replace if it gets a little careworn), they're designed to mould to the contours of your feet over time, so they'll keep on getting comfier with every wear.
Featuring moccasin stitched seams for a traditional effect, they're the ideal option for lounging around in total comfort at home.

Care
Sponge Clean With Wool Detergent
For styles which are sponge clean only, we recommend using our Celtic Wool Wash in cold water to gently remove any dirt or stains on your boots.
Always allow to dry naturally, away from all artificial heat sources.
Once dry, gently brush with our Multi-Purpose Suede Brush.
Do not:
- Soak
- Use fabric conditioner
- Use artificial heat to dry
- Dry in direct sunlight

These are lovely slippers but unfortunately, I had the same problem as the previous reviewer. I already had a pair of leather babouskas, and there had been no issue with those. I am one of the people who have to size up half a size; this has never been a problem in the past. But there is something different with the felt version; not with the height of the back, for example, but how they are when worn. My 'half size too long behind the heel' was no problem with the leather version - and still isn't with my well worn leather pair with the flattened sheepskin sole. So the felt version behaves differently - that's all I can say. Maybe only a problem when sizing up. PLEASE can we have more leather babouska - there aren't many left. Return and refund dealt with promptly - as is usual with Celtic. Thanks for all you do.
