Why Merino?
Sourced from Australia, Merino is used throughout our collection for its exceptional fabric properties; amongst others this includes its strong and silky texture and beautifully natural drape and elasticity. Whilst the fibres are imported, as these properties are only true to specific flocks, many of our Merino garments are then hand crafted into timeless classics right here in Great Britain. This allows us to create quality products, in our distinctive style, whilst working with the best possible wools from around the globe.
The Crew Neck
Thankfully we know when we’re onto a good product, an item that our customers love to collect, and that is why our best-selling Fine Knit Merino Crew Neck line has evolved into an iconic knitwear collection. With both classic and fashion forward colours and patterns to choose from, in a totally timeless cut, here at HQ we love adding to the collection just as much as our customers love wearing them. Completely versatile and easy to wear, throw over a shirt for an effortless office look, or with jeans for relaxed weekend glamour.
The Roll Neck
Another Merino item that has recently made it into our core collection is the Slouchy Fine Knit Roll Neck. Evolved from just Oatmeal and Black colour options, into one of our forever favourite garments, this is both a stylish layering piece and a sophisticated standalone garment. Crafted from the same Merino yarn as the crew neck, this jumper is both wonderfully breathable and thermoregulating, creating the perfect go to jumper right through from Autumn to Spring.
The Cardi
To complete our round up of our most luxurious merino knits, we’d like to introduce the Cable Cardi, crafted from 100% Merino Lambswool. This is a modern take on one of our more classic styles, in a slightly longer length and flattering horizontal cabling. The Cable Cardi is available in a range of colours, spanning pale parchment to rich brown. This collection is complemented by the Cable Boyfriend Cardi, in a longer length and relaxed fit which is inspired by a classic menswear cut. These cardi's emulate throw on chic at its finest!
